We offer surrogacy assistance for intended parents in the LGBTQ community.

Our LGBTQ parents experience a welcoming, flexible and nurturing environment at New England Surrogacy. We strive to hold our clinics and partners to our same high standards for LGBTQ parenting through surrogacy and can help direct you to the most open and inclusive resources to support your journey.

We protect you

As your surrogacy agency, we refer you to an attorney who specializes in family formation law to ensure that your parental rights are affirmed and safeguarded. New England has a favorable legal environment for same-sex and transgender surrogacy arrangements, including the placement of the names of both partners (or a single male or female parent) on the birth certificate. We closely monitor the international legal scene to keep tabs on developments around the world that might affect the LGBTQ intended parents in our care.

We're committed to the community

In support of the rights of gays and lesbians to form a family, we’ve taken the Gay Parents Assistance Pledge (GPAP) through an organization called Men Having Babies. In addition, our staff keeps up to date with the Family Equality Council's Open Door Professional Training Program. A baby marks a huge step in growing your family. We’d be honored to take that step with you and promise to provide exceptional advice and guidance throughout the journey.

Additionally, we personally devote our time and resources to supporting the community.  Our Directors, Ellen Trachman and Catherine Tucker both belong to the prestigious Family Law Institute, which is a joint project of the National Center for Lesbian Rights and the National LGBTQ Bar Association. Both Catherine and Ellen are active members of the National LGBTQ Bar Association. In addition, Ellen has been honored by local LGBTQ organizations for her work on same-sex family building.
